Description
Day 01 Board the train at Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and begin your enchanting journey to Bijapur.
Day 02 Arrive at the historic capital of the Sultans of the Deccan, Bijapur. Explore the citadel, visiting its beautiful buildings and tombs.
Day 03 This morning visit the superlative Chalukyan temples of Aihole and Pattadakal and compare the differences in the sculpting work between the temples and the two locations built in successive time periods.
Day 04 Today the train reaches Hospet. Visit the iconic City of Victory, Hampi. Explore the sacred and royal centers, palaces and impressive temples.
Day 05 This morning disembark in the royal city of the Nizams – Hyderabad. First head to Golconda Fort, built in the 13th century capital, then becoming the capital of the Qutb Shahi dynasty and a spot where huge diamonds like the Kohinoor and Hope were mined. In the evening, visit the famous Charminar, walk through bustling and colorful streets. Enjoy a special evening in the royal city.
Day 06 Proceed to visit Ellora Caves, a World Heritage site. A unique artistic creation, with its sanctuaries devoted to Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism, it illustrates the spirit of tolerance that was characteristic of ancient India.
Day 07 Arrive at Jalgaon railway station and drive to Ajanta Caves, a World Heritage site. These magnificent caves have exquisite ancient murals and sculptures that depict the life of Buddha.
Day 08 Arrive at Mumbai, where your journey comes to an end.

Cancellation Policy:
For any cancellation days are counted excluding the date of departure,
- 20 % of the ticket value is non refundable.
- 44 - 30 days prior to the departure date, retention of 50 % of the ticket value
- 29 – 0 days prior to the departure date, retention of 100 % of the ticket value
Terms and Conditions:
- Offer is applicable for bookings made for the period of October 2018 – May 2019 on Hidden Treasures of Gujarat and Jewels of the Deccan journeys only.
- Valid for FIT bookings with passenger passport copies only. Valid for all bookings made by 30th June 2018 with advances. GST of 5% will be charged extra on total invoice cost.
- Prices are subject to change in case of any amendment in the routing or other hikes such as fuel, taxes, railway approvals etc.
- This offer is valid only for the above mentioned departure dates.
- As a policy of Deccan Odyssey, they reserve the right to change or cancel the operations of any departure on Deccan Odyssey which shall be informed 45 days in advance to the departure date. Incase of any such cancellation the 100/% refund will be made within 10 working days.
- As per policy once a booking is done with the passenger names, name change or any amendment is not allowed. It is taken as cancelled and retention shall be charged as applicable.
